One Step at a Time is an interpretation from Michael Tubberty's photograph published in the NZ Herald September 20th 1975.  Thirty eight
years later this iconic image of Dame Whina Cooper and her granddaughter Irenee is still topical -
an inspiration and metaphor for the struggle to be heard.
